Managing build settings: overview

You might need to either use a build template to restore a computer to its original state, or use a restore image to return it to a previous configuration. In a computer's properties dialog, you can specify the build template or restore image which will be used.

You can also make changes to the specified build template on a computer. This means that next time this computer is built, the build template will be applied with the modified settings. However, we recommend that you do not change the default build template settings unless you have good reason to do so.
